Turn up the speakers. The sounds of summer are bringing a new kind of heat to St. Louis.

During the summer, the region buzzes with activity. From Shakespeare in the Park to Celebrate Saint Louis and the Festival of Nations to the Saint Louis Art Fair, there’s never a dull moment, but right now, we’re dialed into the major musical events happening throughout the area.

With a new rendition of Music at the Intersection, a spectacular season at The Muny, blues by the Gateway Arch and more, melomaniacs will get their fill of great music this year.

Post Malone Presents: The BIG ASS Stadium Tour

May 13

American rapper and singer Post Malone is set to play Busch Stadium this May – but he’s gonna need some help. Jelly Roll will join him on The BIG ASS Stadium Tour, and the duo promises to perform “Losers” for your listening pleasure.

Pointfest

May 17

The Urge, Toadies, Finger Eleven, Ludo, Sick Puppies, Alien Ant Farm, Post Sex Nachos and Oxymorrons – these artists and more will play during Pointfest at Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre – St. Louis.

& Juliet

May 20 to June 1

Flipping the script on the greatest love story ever told, & Juliet asks: What would happen if Juliet didn’t end it all over Romeo? Get whisked away on a fabulous journey as she ditches her famous ending for a fresh beginning and a second chance at life and love – her way. A playlist of pop anthems as iconic as her name – think “Since U Been Gone,” “Roar,” “Baby One More Time” and “Can’t Stop the Feeling” – brings Juliet’s story to life, and now, the only tragedy would be missing it. Opera Theatre of Saint Louis Festival Season

May 24 to June 29

Offering its signature mix of beloved classical operas and bold contemporary works, Opera Theatre of Saint Louis will present its 50th festival season from May 24 to June 29. Through the talents of hundreds of local, national and international artists, audiences will experience the magic of innovative storytelling as they travel between fantasy and reality, comedy and tragedy, love and revenge. The 2025 festival season includes Die Fledermaus (May 24 to June 28), This House (May 31 to June 29), Don Pasquale (June 8 to 27) and A Midsummer Night’s Dream (June 14 to 28). Composed by Ricky Ian Gordon with a libretto by Pulitzer Prize winner Lynn Nottage and her daughter, Ruby Aiyo Gerber, This House is the centerpiece of the season – and yet another world premiere commissioned by Opera Theatre of Saint Louis. All the operas will be sung in English and accompanied by the Grammy Award-winning St. Louis Symphony Orchestra.

Whitaker Music Festival

May 28 to July 30

The Missouri Botanical Garden is an idyllic place to listen to live music, and on Wednesday evenings throughout the summer, the garden hosts free, open-air concerts as part of the annual Whitaker Music Festival. To date, more than one million people have participated in the cherished St. Louis tradition, which promotes common heritage, celebrates diversity and encourages vitality within the community. Visitors can bring their own picnics, and food, beer, wine and sno-cones will be available for purchase.

Midwest Dreams Music Festival

May 31

Explosive energy. Electrifying music. Incredible production. Midwest Dreams isn’t just a music festival; it’s an out-of-this-world experience. Dom Dolla, Diplo, Acraze and YDG, among other world-renowned DJs, will set the scene for the EDM extravaganza. In addition to the euphoric beats and dreamlike vibes, festivalgoers can enjoy food trucks, stiff drinks, art installations, carnival rides and firework displays!

Caamp

June 3

Indie-folk band Caamp will bring their 2025 tour – along with recently released music – to St. Louis this June. Amassing more than 2.5 billion streams globally, the Ohio-bred band continues to delight audiences with their heartfelt storytelling, which blends folk, bluegrass and rock. Other live music events at Stifel Theatre include James Arthur, Ledisi, Diana Krall, Chicago, Sierra Ferrell, Lucy Dacus and CAIN, among other artists.

Kendrick Lamar and SZA: Grand National Tour

June 4

The day after Kendrick Lamar scored a No. 1 debut on the Billboard 200 with his surprise album GNX, the rapper announced a North American stadium tour with SZA for 2025. The Grand National Tour will hit 19 stadiums, including The Dome at America’s Center on June 4. Get your tickets today!

Thomas Rhett: Better In Boots Tour 2025

June 7

Back on the road and back to his roots, Thomas Rhett will stop in St. Louis this summer. He’s not the only recognizable name in Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre’ star-studded lineup, though. Music lovers will also want to mark their calendars for summer concerts from Avril Lavigne, Dave Matthews Band, Halsey, Chris Stapleton, Kesha, Jason Aldean, The Lumineers, Little Big Town, AJR, Luke Bryan, Rod Stewart, The Offspring, The Doobie Brothers, Blink-182 and Lainey Wilson, among other artists.

Bailey Zimmerman: New to Country Summer Tour

June 13

Breakout country music star Bailey Zimmerman will bring down the house with his high-energy performance at Saint Louis Music Park. Later in the summer, the venue will also welcome Smino, Earth, Wind & Fire, Rainbow Kitten Surprise, Coheed & Cambria, Goo Goo Dolls, Chevelle and Papa Roach, among other artists.

The Muny

June 16 to August 24

For more than 105 years, The Muny has filled Forest Park with the sounds of Broadway. Open from June through August, the outdoor theater attracts out-of-town professionals as well as local talent for memorable musicals beginning with As You Like It, the very first production ever mounted at what would become The Muny. For its 107th season, The Muny will delight audiences with Bring It On: The Musical (June 16 to 22), Come From Away (June 26 to July 2), Disney’s Frozen (July 6 to 14), Evita (July 18 to 24), Dear Evan Hansen (July 28 to Aug. 3), La Cage aux Folles (Aug. 8 to 14) and Jersey Boys (Aug. 18 to 24). Attending a performance at The Muny with family and friends is a staple of St. Louis summers. The shows are enchanting, electrifying and empowering, and every night, there are free seats available on a first-come first-served basis, so everyone can experience the magic of live theater.

Outlaw Music Festival

June 28

2025 marks 10 years of unforgettable performances at the Outlaw Music Festival. Since its inception in Scranton, Pennsylvania, the music festival has become a hallmark of authentic Americana, evolving into one of North America’s largest annual touring franchises. Led by cultural and musical icon Willie Nelson, the tour unites music legends with today’s superstars in a celebration of the outlaw spirit and genre-defying music. When the Outlaw Music Festival comes to Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre – St. Louis, it will feature Willie Nelson, Bob Dylan and Nathaniel Rateliff, among other artists.

Celebrate Saint Louis

July 3 and 4

Concerts, parades and fireworks galore – Celebrate St. Louis is the ultimate way to spend America’s birthday. Engaging, serving and celebrating the region through diverse, impactful and entertaining experiences, the Fourth of July event will take place in downtown St. Louis.

Ghost: Skeletour World Tour 2025

July 30

Swedish rock band Ghost will bring their mix of costumed theatrics, heavy metal and arena rock to Enterprise Center on July 30. Other summer concerts at the St. Louis venue include Shinedown, Linkin Park and Deftones.

Blues at the Arch

August 8 to 10

Blues at the Arch will keep you in the groove until the end of summer. Hosted by the Gateway Arch Park Foundation, in partnership with the National Blues Museum and the National Park Service, Blues at the Arch pays tribute to St. Louis’ storied blues history and showcases the talents of local and national artists. Held at Gateway Arch National Park, the free music festival is the only one of its kind to take place on national park grounds.

Chris Brown: Breezy Bowl XX Tour

September 5

Get excited – global superstar Chris Brown will bring his Breezy Bowl XX Tour to The Dome at America’s Center on Sept. 5, with special guests Summer Walker and Bryson Tiller. Tickets are now on sale – get yours today! 

Confluence Music Festival

September 5 to 7

The 80,000-plus fans projected to attend the upcoming Enjoy Illinois 300, a NASCAR Cup Series race at World Wide Technology Raceway, will be entertained at every turn. Adding energy to the oval, the Confluence Music Festival will showcase innovation, talent and live entertainment. Over the weekend, the festival will feature approximately 30 local, regional and national acts. Tickets include access to mouthwatering food and beverage vendors, interactive entertainment displays, a STEAM education showcase, display cars, interviews with local sports legends and a seat for the race.

Music at the Intersection

September 12 to 14

Music and heritage meet at this festival in the Grand Center Arts District. Every rendition of Music at the Intersection, a civic-led effort presented by the Kranzberg Arts Foundation, encompasses multiple stages set up in streets and green spaces throughout the neighborhood. St. Louis-based musicians as well as national acts spanning musical genres, including blues, jazz, soul, R&B, rock ‘n’ roll and hip-hop, come together in this celebration of St. Louis’ musical, cultural and artistic legacy.

Old Webster Jazz & Blues Festival

September 20

More than 20 years ago, a small but passionate group of neighbors organized the first Old Webster Jazz & Blues Festival simply because they wanted to throw a great party in their historic downtown. Today, the award-winning festival is one of the most family-friendly music festivals in the world. Offering nonstop jazz and blues on two stages, the free event showcases St. Louis’ most talented performers – plus, irresistible area restaurants and unique small businesses. Street entertainers also amuse spectators with balloons, juggling and face-painting. Everyone is invited to the party, where people from one to 100 get on their feet and shake their groove thing in the streets!

Evolution Festival

September 27 and 28

In its third year, Evolution Festival will once again shake things up in St. Louis. Held in Forest Park, the genre-bending music festival features live music infused with a bold beverage experience – plus, food that spotlights traditional recipes as well as cutting-edge trends from some of the most recognizable pitmasters in the Show-Me State. Headlined by Lenny Kravitz and Sublime, this year’s festival will also feature Sam Fender, Public Enemy, The Hives, TLC and Corinne Bailey Rae, among other artists.
